Fibromyalgia

We are excited to offer our unique comprehensive pain management approach to patients with fibromyalgia.

It is a very common medical condition, estimated to affect 2-4% of the population;  approximately 10 million Americans have fibromyalgia.

Medical research supports treatments that are well suited to our clinic. Our physicians offer skills and experience particularly useful for assisting you in improving your function and pain.

These treatments include Medications such as gabapentin, lyrica, cymbalta, savella and tramadol

Best outcomes are obtained when patients are determined to actively participate in improving their own health, including improved fitness, sleep, and learning new skills that aid in the management of anxiety and stress. It is inspiring to observe when our patients have made important changes in these areas. Our patients are often astonished to look back and see how much of a difference these changes have made in improving their pain and function.

Please note that it is common for fibromyalgia to coexist with other pain conditions, especially spine pain, arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome and headaches. It is important for us to perform a complete medical evaluation and work with you to identify treatment options which might be appropriate for your unique situation.
